# Adding Child Address information

# Adding Child Address information

This article will assist you with adding in the address details for a Child.

### Overview

The Child may have a different address to the Guardians assigned to the Family. The child address information populates on various reports. 
| The child address is also important for the **QLD Kindergarten funding reporting**.

### Adding in the Child Address details

1. Search on the **Child or Family name** via the Global search or via the Families screen.
2. Select their details from the drop-down menu

3. Select the **3 dot** menu next to the child
4. Select **Edit** from the drop-down menu

5. Add in the missing **address** details
6. Select **Save**
