# CCSS Messages & Notification Overview

# CCSS Messages & Notification Overview

There are processes in CCSS which will generate messages for Providers and Services. This Messages service provide a way of communication to the providers and services from DHS.

**There are two types of CCSS Messages. **

* **Notifications**

Processes within the CCS system may result in a notification being generated that is applicable for a provider or service.
Some examples:

* Application for ACCS ‘Child Wellbeing’ has been submitted
* ACCS Entitlement has been approved
* ACCS (Child Wellbeing) Entitlement has been cancelled
* Enrolment Deemed Cessation Warning
* Enrolment has ended
* Notifications to Providers to update their details
* Session report processing result is available
* Return fee reduction detail has been updated
* Payment advice is available

* **Correspondence**

The ‘Read Correspondence List’ operation will return a list of correspondence/letter/advice available for the child care provider or service. The operation will include a ‘link’ to the correspondence/letter/advice. Xap will perform a second request (Read Correspondence) to the CCS system to retrieve the correspondence/letter/advice. At this stage, all correspondence/letter/advice binary are in PDF format.
