# Children Additional Needs Report

# Children Additional Needs Report

This article will assist you with viewing and understanding the **Children Additional Needs** report.

### When would I use this report?

This report can be used to view all the children within your Organisation/Centre that have any additional needs flagged, including - Health conditions and medications with expiry dates.
The Additional Needs report will display all **active** and **inactive** children within your service and includes a unique identifier to allow you to cross-reference across multiple reports.

### Where can you find this report?

The **Children Additional Needs** report can be located on your reports screen.

1. Select the **Reports screen** from the left hand menu
2. Under the **Family** section select **Children Additional Needs**

### What will this report show?

The children additional needs report will include:

| Column | Heading | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| A | Child | Displays the first and last name of the child |
| B | Known As | Displays the known as name if this has been set by the Guardian or Service (can be different to legal name). |
| C | Child DOB | Displays the DOB of the child. |
| D | Family | Displays the name of the Family the child is linked to. |
| E | Child Age | Displays the age in months of the child |
| F | Health Condition | Displays the flagged health condition for the child. |
| G | Health Comments | Displays any comments that may have been added for health conditions for the child. |
| H | Medication | Displays the name of any medications flagged against the child. |
| I | Medication Exp Date | Displays the expiry date for any medications that have been flagged for the child. |
| J | Other Comments | Displays any comments that have been added against medication for the child. |
| K | Attachments | Displays any attachments that have been added against medication for the child. |
| L | Rooms | Displays the rooms the child is booked into. |
| M | Child Status | Displays the active/inactive statuses for the child. |
| N | Family Status | Displays the active/inactive statuses for the child. |
| O | Centre | Displays the name of the centre the child is linked to. |
| P | Provider | Displays the name of the provider the child is linked to. |
| Q | Organisation | Displays the name of the organisation the child is linked to. |
| R | Family ID | Displays the Family ID the child is linked to. |
| S | Child ID | Displays the ID of the child. |
| T | Centre ID| Displays the ID of the centre the child is linked to. |
| U | Organisation ID | Displays ID of the organisation the child is linked to. |

### How would I use this report?

The children report can be exported out to **excel** or **csv** formats as well as **filtered**. 

###### Filtering the report

To refine the details listed,
1. Select the **reports option** icon
2. Select the **filter** icon from the drop-down

3. You will then be able to view the current refinements showing. Select the section you wish to refine and edit the selection. 
4. Once complete, select **apply**.

###### Exporting the report

To export the report,

1. Select the **reports option** icon
2. Select the **export** icon from the drop-down
3. Select the report format either **excel** or ** csv**
