# Guardian - Forgotten your Password

This article will assist you with resetting your password to log into the Guardian Smile app as well as the Guardian web portal.

If you have forgotten your password to log into the Smile app or the Guardian portal you can reset it.


### Resetting your Password

If you are on your device, you can reset your password for both the Web Portal and the Smile app by using the **forgotten password** option.

| Note: The reset password will reset it for both the Guardian portal as well as the Smile app.

1. On your device or computer type in **xap.rocks** and select **Forgot our password?**

2. Add in your **email address*
3. Select **send reset email**

4. Check your **email**

From your email account view the email **Reset your Password**
5. Select the **Reset Password**  button

6. Add in your new **password** and **confirm** it underneath
7. Select **Continue**

Your password has been successfully reset.
8. Select **Return to Login**

###### You will then be able to log into the Guardian portal and Smile app using your new password to manage your Account details.
