# Help Page - NSW Digital Hub

The **NSW Digital Hub** is a secure, centralised platform designed to help Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services manage key operational and reporting requirements. 
Through the Digital Hub, services can submit data, access available funding programs, and meet reporting obligations with the NSW Department of Education, all within one easy-to-use system.
This streamlined approach helps reduce administrative workload, improve data accuracy, and provide a more efficient way to manage information and funding-related activities.

### Care Types

* The NSW Digital hub is currently only for **Kinder/Preschools in NSW**
* Which means they have to be a **Kinder/Preschool** only Type where children are attending and have kinder bookings in the System. 
* LDC's possibly next year **2027**

### FAQ's

###### Question 1: Do I have to opt in?
**Answer:**
* You dont have to Opt in with Xap, if you are using Xap we recommend you do.
* You will need to Opt in to a CCMS provider of choice. Services using more than one CCMS for enrolment and attendance information are recommended to review operational procedures and combine activities into one primary CCMS as soon as possible.
* It is highly recommended for services that rely on paper records to opt for a CCMS system to manage enrolments and attendance as soon as possible. By selecting a CCMS system, services can prepare to meet the requirements for reporting of existing and future funding and grant programs. 

**Question 2:** What type of Enrolment is the child required to have?
**Answer:** 
* Kinder/Preschools will only have the **NoGov** Enrolment type available

**Question 3:** When will Xap commence submitting the data?
**Answer:** 
* Xap will submit information from January this year onwards
* Submissions are every Saturday morning once opted in - Beginning this week 22/08
