# How To Change A Family Name

Sometimes you may need to change a family's name if details have changed or were incorrect. Follow the steps below to find out how!

**Step 1:** Select families from the left hand side menu.

**Step 2:** Ensure your display preference is set to 'families'.

**Step 3:** Once you have located the family, select the 3 dot menu.

**Step 4:** Select edit.
