# How to set up a direct debit on a family account and set a debit limit?

Setting up a direct debit is the easiest and most convenient way to receive the payments from families. 

**Set up direct debit**

1.  Search and select the Family

2. Within the **"Family Summary** screen and **Payment Account section** select the **3 dot** menu
3. Select **Edit*** from the drop-down menu

4. Select **Yes** to add in the Direct Debit details
5. Select **Card** or **Bank**

 **  Step 4:**  If you want to set a limit on the account, select gap fee with upto amount.

**Step 5:** Once you select Submit, you’ll see a confirmation screen if the submission is successful.
