# Kindergarten - Guardian Occupation reporting

This article will assist you with understanding the coding in Xap when completing Guardian Occupation for your Kindergarten reporting.

Guardian occupation is added as a part of the Enrolment form process or can also be managed by the Service within the Guardian details section.

### Occupation Codes

There are Different Codes for each Occupation type:

**A & B** - Managers
**A & B** - Professionals
**B & C** - Technicians and Trade Workers
**B, C & D** - Community and Personal Service Workers
**B, C & D** - Clerical and Administrative Workers
**B, C & D** - Sales Workers
**D** - Machinery Operators and Drivers
**D** - Labourers
**H** - Person has not been in paid work in the last 12 months because the person cares for their own children fulltime.
**N** - Person has not been in paid work in the last 12 months.

###### H & N Code options.

If you are selecting either option for unpaid work:

* **H** - Person has not been in paid work in the last 12 months because the person cares for their own children fulltime.
* **N** - Person has not been in paid work in the last 12 months.

These options are found by editing the Guardian and within the Job/Title section and selecting:
