# QLD Kindergarten Transition Report

This article will assist you with viewing and understanding the QLD Kindergarten Transition Report.

### When would I use this report?

The QLD Kindergarten Transition report will allow you to generate a Transition statement report to assist in the creation of Transition reports for children **leaving** the service.

A transition statement summarises a child's learning in the five learning and development areas of the [Queensland kindergarten learning guideline](https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/kindergarten/qklg) or other equivalent and accredited learning guideline.

### How do I use the information on the report?

The information provided on the QLD Kindergarten Transition report will provide you with the information based on:
* Child enrolment 
* Attendance in the Kindy program

| The report will be based on calendar years.

###### Select the year to view the children who have attended a Kindy program within your service.

**Important columns to note**:

| Column | Description |
| ---- |
| Program/s | Displays the names of the Program/s the Child has been linked to |
| Date Range | Displays the Booking start date and end date for the year for the child for the kindy program |
| Month Enrolled | Month the child commenced the Kindy program |
| Total Weeks | Total weeks the child has been booked into the Kindy program |
| Total Days | Total **days** the child has been into the Kindy program |
| Days Attended | Notes how many days the child **attended** the Kindy program |
| Days Absent | Notes how many days the child was **absent** for the Kindy program |
| Days Incomplete | Notes how many days the child has an **incomplete marking status** for the Kindy program and service |
| Days Pending | Notes how many days the child has a **pending marking status** for the Kindy program and service till the end of their booking for the kindy program |
