# SMS - Disabling SMS for a Centre


**Managing SMS in Xap is quick and straightforward.** To help you roll this out across your services, it’s important to note that **only Organisation Admins can enable the SMS feature by default**. 
Once SMS has been enabled for the Organisation, you may choose to disable this function for a particular Centre.

### Disabling SMS for a Centre

1. Select the **Settings** screen
2. Select **SMS Configuration**

3. Select the **Centre** name from the left-hand menu
4. Click onto the **enable toggle** button

5. Select **Yes, Disable**
