Enrolment Form - Kindergarten Questions

This article will take you through the process of enabling and adding custom Kindergarten questions into the Enrolment form.

Overview

If your Service is a CBC and provides Kindergarten/Preschool Programs or a Sessional Kindergarten, you can activate the Kindergarten question section on the Enrolment form to assist you with capturing further Kindy entitlement information.

Activating the Kindergarten section

To activate the Kindergarten question section on your Enrolment Forms.

Note: All standard questions on the Kindergarten section of the Enrolment form will have automatic Tag's applied to the child if completed, custom questions will not have an automatic Tag applied to the Child if completed. Tag's will need to be manually added to the child.

Select the Settings icon from the left hand menu
Select the Customise Enrolment Form icon

Select the name of the Centre you would like to activate the section for

Note: If your Enrolment Form settings are set to Organisation, this will enable the Kindergarten section for all of your Services and will be displayed on the Enrolment forms.

Select the Child Information section

Tick to enable the Kindergarten Fee Subsidy Eligibility section
Tick the question under the Show column if you would like it to be displayed on your Enrolment form
Tick the Mandatory option if it is required to be answered by Guardians
Select Save to save the changes

Adding Custom Kindergarten Questions

If you would like to add in further Kindergarten question to assist you with funding requirements.

Note: Custom questions will not have an automatic Tag applied to the Child if completed. Tag's will need to be manually added to the child. To assist you further with managing Manual Tag's see: Kindy Tag's

Select the 3 line + button
Select the type of question, in this example we are selecting Text Area

Create the Question and relevant information
Select Save

Select Save to save the questions to the Enrolment form

Note: The Enrolment form will be updated to include changes from the Government regarding Kindergarten/Preschool funding eligibility. If you would like to create the questions manually now, they will need to be re-answered once the enrolment form has been updated.

QLD Kindergarten Enrolment form questions changes

The below table will provide you with the new QLD Kindy questions that you will need to capture the information on. There a existing questions that may need updating or new questions that are going to be added.
