Creating an IS Case Claim


This article will assist you with creating IS case claims for your Service in the Xap program.


Overview


IS case claims are for circumstances where an additional educator is required. Services will first need approval from their IS case manager.

The claim can only be submitted via the software, once it has been approved via the NISSP Portal. see: [ISP Portal

Creating a new IS Case Claim



1: Select CCSS interfaces from the left-hand side menu.



2: Select the IS Case Claims icon.



3: Select the Claims tab at the top of the screen.



  1. Select the Green + Add button



The Create - IS Case Claims Screen will display


  1. If you are in Enterprise View, select the Centre name the IS Case Claim is linked to
  2. Select the IS Case ID
  3. Select the Week Ending the Claim is being created for
  4. Select the Payment Type
  5. Select the Method of Delivery eg. Face to Face or Non Face to Face
  6. Add in the Total amount of hours being claimed for the selected weekending, and Method eg. Face to Face
Note: If you are claiming F2F and non F2F hours for the same week, create 2 IS Case Claims. The first for the F2F **hours and days and the second for the **Non F2F hours and days.

11.Select the Enrolment ID/sof the child/ren the IS hours are being claimed for in the selected weekending

  1. Add in the Additional Educators details - First and Last name, Educator IS if applicable
  2. Select the Care Date - This is the day you are claiming IS for
  3. Add in the Total amount of IS hours being claimed for the selected day/date


Note: When adding in the hours the minutes are based on minutes eg.

15 minutes = 0.15

30 minutes = 0.30

45 minutes = 0.45



  1. Select + Educator if further days/dates and hour are to be claimed for the selected week.
Note: This allows you to identify each Date, Hours per Date, Educator per Date


For Example




Scroll down further within the Create - IS Case Claim Screen

  1. Add in the details of the Authorised person completing the IS Claim
  2. Tick the Declaration agreement
  3. Select Submit to CCSS

The IS case will be submitted to CCMS for processing.



Viewing the Status


The Statuses of created IS case claims will display:

Submitted - Claim successfully submitted to CCMS for processing, pending on payment

Processed - Claim processed by CCMS, payments received

Rejected - Claim has been rejected by CCMS (you will need to contact the ISP Team to clarify this) can be due to incorrect hours being claimed or running out of hours

Cancelled - Claim has been submitted and cancelled by the Service
