Which CCSS Arrangement Type to choose

**CWA (Complying Written Arrangement) **

This is the only type of Arrangement that can enable families to receive Child Care Subsidy. A Complying Written Arrangement is an agreement to provide care in return for fees. A Complying Written Arrangement must set out the following:

  • The names and contact details of the child care centre and the parent/guardian;
  • The date that the Arrangement starts
  • The name and date of birth of the child;
  • If care will be provided on a routine basis, and if so:
  • Details about the days on which sessions of care will usually be provided; and
  • The usual start and end times for these sessions of care
  • Whether care may be provided on a casual or flexible basis (in addition to, or instead of, a routine basis)
  • Details of fees to be charged under the Arrangement, that the parent/guardian understand may vary from time to time
  • CRN’s and correct DOB’s can be added later if their circumstances change e.g. They would now like to claim CCS

Claiming TFH, GCCS, TTW

For the Service to be able to claim the funding for the below ACCS payment types:

  1. Temporary Financial Hardship
  2. Grandparenting CCS
  3. Transition to Work

Create a CWA with valid DOB's and CRN numbers for the Guardian and Child are required.

Once the Guardian has applied through the myGov or FAO for GCCB, TFH or TTW the service will automatically see the Additional Child Care Subsidy funding appearing on the Account to reduce their out of pocket expense.

Viewing TFH, GCCS, TTW

Once the Guardian/Carer has been approved for ACCS by FAO, this information will be displayed within the System.

It will display:

Note: If a Family has advised they are under GCCS, TFH or TTW and it is not showing, no action is required by the Service. The Family will need to speak directly to FAO. Once it has been approved it will automatically display to the Service via the CCSS Arrangement. This link can be provided to the Families to assist with the application process.
