CCSS Session Error- Session report already exists for the Supplied Report Start Date


This article will assist you with managing the CCSS Session error of Session report already exists for the Supplied Report Start Date.


Meaning:


The CCSS Message of 'Session report already exists for the Supplied Report Start Date" occurs when the Service tries to submit a initial session report when the session report has been already submitted successfully to CCSS.


Why the error occurs


The Message of 'Session report already exists for the Supplied Report Start Date, can occur when the session report was submitted from a different software provider and the user/system is trying to submit the same session report from Xap.



Correcting the Error


To resolve the error and allow the Session to be created again and submitted via the Xap program. This will create a vary session report.


Querying the Session Report


  1. Select the Bookings & Attendances screen
  2. Select the Session Reports screen
  3. Select Bulk Action
  4. Select Query CCSS




  1. Select the Service Name
  2. Select the Care Type/Service
  3. Select Enrolment
  4. Select the Child name
  5. Select the CCSS Enrolment ID
  6. Select the session Start Date
  7. Select the session End Date
  8. Select Query Session Reports




Creating the Session Report


  1. Select the Bookings & Attendances Screen
  2. Select the Session Reports Tab
  3. Select the Green + button



  1. Select the Service name
  2. Select the Care type
  3. Select the Session Report Start Date
  4. Select the Session Report End Date
  5. Select the name of the Child
  6. Select their CCSS Enrolment ID
  7. Select Create




Once the session has been created in Xap, it can be submitted to CCSS for processing see: How to submit CCSS Session Reports


Why the error needs to be resolved.


If the message is not resolved this can impact the Service and Guardian for paid CCSS.

  • The Session for the child with the error will not submit successfully for processing until the message has been corrected
