Kindergarten - Guardian Occupation reporting

This article will assist you with understanding the coding in Xap when completing Guardian Occupation for your Kindergarten reporting.

Guardian occupation is added as a part of the Enrolment form process or can also be managed by the Service within the Guardian details section.

Occupation Codes

There are Different Codes for each Occupation type:

A & B - Managers

A & B - Professionals

B & C - Technicians and Trade Workers

B, C & D - Community and Personal Service Workers

B, C & D - Clerical and Administrative Workers

B, C & D - Sales Workers

D - Machinery Operators and Drivers

D - Labourers

H - Person has not been in paid work in the last 12 months because the person cares for their own children fulltime.

N - Person has not been in paid work in the last 12 months.

H & N Code options.

If you are selecting either option for unpaid work:

• H - Person has not been in paid work in the last 12 months because the person cares for their own children fulltime.
• N - Person has not been in paid work in the last 12 months.

These options are found by editing the Guardian and within the Job/Title section and selecting:
