QLD Kindergarten Funding - Correcting a previously submitted Acquittal or Forecast

QLD Kindergarten Funding - Correcting a previously submitted Acquittal or Forecast

Overview

In certain scenarios, and Acquittal/Forecast will be submitted incorrectly and will be rejected by QGrants. When this happens, QGrants will delete the record on their end and will require users to resubmit the Acquittal/Forecast.

A few examples of reasons why a Acquittal/Forecast could be incorrect include:

  • Incorrect number of programs submitted. Each Acquittal/Forecast should contain the same number of programs that have been approved by QGrants.
  • Acquittal does not contain all of the children submitted in the previous Forecast. QGrants requires that all children submitted in a Forecast are included in the subsequent Acquittal, even if the child did not attend.
  • Incorrect Program, Teacher or Child information.

Process

Step 1:

Contact QGrants and have them cancel the Forecast/Acquittal on their end,

Step 2: Query the status to change from submitted/processed to draft.

  1. Select the 3-dot menu for the Forecast or Acquittal (status will be either submitted or processed)
  2. Select Query from the drop-down menu.
Note: If the Acquittal/Forecast has not been deleted by QGrants, the status will not be updated to Draft.

Step 3: Delete the Acquittal/Forecast. This can only be done in Draft status

  1. Select the 3-dot menu for the Forecast or Acquittal (status will be draft)
  2. Select Delete

  1. Select Yes

Step 4: Recreate the Forecast/Acquittal
Note: It is important to delete the rejected Draft status forecast/acquittal and restart. If the newly updated Draft status report is resubmitted this will include the same reference code that has been rejected. A NEW forecast/acquittal needs to be created to have a new reference code for QGrants.

Once you have recreated the Acquittal/Forecast correcting the incorrect data as per normal processes, then submit when ready.
