QLD Kindy for all - Generating Invoices Sessional Kindergartens

This article will assist you with managing your Families QLD Free Kindy credits and generating Invoices.

Xap is currently building the new Kindy for All requirements in Xap based on the specifications provided late in 2023. Once the Forecast Milestone release has been released Xap will provide new support documentations and/or video tutorials to assist clients in this process so please be ready to action.

All Approved Kindergarten Program Providers (KPPs) in Queensland that deliver an Approved Kindergarten Program for:

• 15 hours per week or 30 hours per fortnight
• at least 40 weeks
• up to 600 hours per year.

Are eligible to opt into Free Kindy from 2024, subject to meeting Eligibility Requirements and specified terms and conditions.

Milestone Release 1 - Create and Submit a forecast

The new forecast process is currently being finalised and is expected to be available to providers from the 25th Jan. Once Milestone release has been released Xap will provide new support documentations and/or video tutorials to assist clients in this process so please be ready to action.

This means you are still able to apply your Term (Base Fees) and add QLD Free Kindergarten payments as per your 2023 process.

Generating Invoices

A new Transaction type has been created that will display on your Families Invoices & Statements QLD Government Free Kindy when the credits have been applied.

The Application of the QLD Government Free Kindy payments will continue to be manually added to your Families as per your 2023 process.

Steps for Kindy/Preschool Invoicing

Step 1. Create Kindy/Preschool programs

Step 2. Apply Tag's to eligible children eg. VISA types

Step 3. Apply Term Charges & Misc. Charges

Step 4. Apply applicable QLD Government Free payments using the new Transaction type

Step 5. Generate Invoices
