Sending Bulk Custom Push Notifications

This article will assist you with sending Bulk Push Notifications to Families at your Service.

Overview

Push Notifications can be sent out bye the Service to Families to view via the Web Portal for Guardians or Xap Smile APP.

Where can you send Push Notifications from in Xap?

Push Notifications can be sent from:

Families Screen

Families Tab
Guardians Tab
Children Tab

Bookings & Attendances Screen

Rolls Tab
Bookings Tab

Payments & Billing Screen

Accounts Tab

Examples of Push Notifications

Sending a Bulk Push Notification

In this example we are sending a push notification to Guardians of all children who attend on a selected day.

Select the Bookings & Attendances Screen
Select the Bookings Tab

Select the From Date
Select the To Date
Select Search

Note: Filters can be used to refine the information, eg. Rooms, Sessions/Fees, Child Status or even if you are in Enterprise mode to select a Service. see How To Use The Filter/Search? (Booking & Attendance)

Note: Ensure you check on the bottom left hand side if there is more than 25 on the filter, as the page loads 25 at a time. If you have eg. 150, select the 150 and re-select the bulk select option to select ALL required children.

Select the Child/ren

Select Bulk Action
Select Send Push Notification from the drop down

Add in the Title of the Push Notification
Add in the Message to be sent
Select Send Notification

Family viewing Push Notification via Web Portal

Select **Notifications bell ** icon to view any Notifications from the Service.

Family View of Push Notification via Xap Smile APP

Select the Notifications bell icon to view any notifications from the Service.

Note: The Family will also receive a Xap Smile Notification on the device the APP is installed on to prompt them to view the notification.
