Sending Individual Custom Push Notifications


This article will assist you with sending Bulk Custom Push Notifications to Families at your Service.



Overview


Push Notifications can be sent out by the Service to Families to view via the Web Portal for Guardians or the Xap Smile APP.

Push Notifications can be sent from:


Families Screen


  • Families Tab
  • Guardians Tab
  • Children Tab


Bookings & Attendances Screen


  • Rolls Tab
  • Bookings Tab


Payments & Billing Screen


  • Accounts Tab


Sending an Individual Push Notification


In this example we are sending a notification to a family regarding Medication.


  1. Select the Families Screen
  2. Select the Children Tab





  1. Search on the name of the child
  2. Select Search
  3. Select 3 Dot Menu
  4. Select Send Push Notification


Note: Filters can be used to refine the information, eg. Rooms, Sessions/Fees, Child Status or even if you are in Enterprise mode to select a Service. see How To Use The Filter/Search? (Booking & Attendance)



  1. Add in the Title of the Message
  2. Add in the Message to be sent
  3. Select Send Notification




Family viewing Push Notification via Web Portal


  1. Select **Notifications bell ** icon to view any Notifications from the Service.
  2. Read the required notification




Family View of Push Notification via Xap Smile APP


  1. Select the Notifications bell icon to view any notifications from the Service.
  2. Read the required notification
Note: The Family will also receive a Xap Smile Notification on the device the APP is installed on to prompt them to view the notification.
