Additional Absences - Creating Extra Absence Reasons


This article will assist you adding extra Additional Absence Reasons for your Service.


Overview


Additional Absences are recorded in the system when the child has used their Standard Absences. The Guardian has provided documentation to allow them to claim CCS for the absent days.

Additional Absence Reasons


The system has standard reasons available, however you may choose to create your own options.


Creating Additional Absence Reasons


To create new Absence reasons.


  1. Select the Settings Screen
  2. Select the Tags icon



  1. Select the Green + Button on the top right hand side



  1. Add in the Tag name
  2. Select the Category - OtherAbsenceReason
  3. Select the Providers/Centres to apply the Tag too
  4. If required select if it is a High Priority
  5. Select Save



The new Absence Reason will be available when marking a child as Absent.
