How to Record a Split Attendance

How to Record a Split Attendance

This article will assist you in creating a split attendance for a child at your Service. A split attendance is used when a child arrives at the service, leaves for a short period during the day, and then returns later. This results in two separate sets of arrival and departure times being recorded for that child within the same day.

  1. Select Bookings and Attendances Module
  2. Select the Attendances Tab

  1. Use the Search and Filter function to locate the child that requires a split attendance.
  2. Select the Three Dot Menu, Edit.

Note: If the child has already been signed out, you will need to search on Complete attendances.

  1. Select Split Attendance when you are ready to sign the child back in to the centre.

  1. Populate the Sign In information
  2. Select Save.

  1. The attendance will now move back to Incomplete until a departure time is recorded.

Note: The split attendance can be identified by the split attendance icon next to the Sign In time.
