Logging into the Xap Kiosk

The Connect app allows Centres to turn their device into Kiosk mode in order to give access to families to sign their children in and out each day.

To install the APP see:

Google Play Store

Apple Store

To activate Guardian Kiosk mode.

Log into the Connect App
Select the option of Kiosk Device Mode

Note: when you log in to the device for the first time, it will ask you to set up a Kiosk Code Password ** The PIN Number is **per Device not per User. If you install the Connect App on multiple devices, you can set the same PIN number for each or different PIN's per device.

Best Practice would be for the Centre Director or Managers to log into each device that is using Connect for the Kiosk mode at the beginning to set the PIN number. This PIN Number can then be shared with the relevant Staff.

Select your password and confirm.

Device is now turning into the kiosk mode.

Guardians and Nominees will be asked to enter their mobile number and four digit Kiosk Code to sign the children in and out.

Exiting Kiosk Mode to Educator Mode

To exit the device from the kiosk mode:

Select exit kiosk

Type in your secure Kiosk PIN
