Xap Release Notes
This document contains the release notes for Xap.
Date: 20 November 2024
Type: Feature release
We are excited to announce the release of Xap User Access Periods! This release allows users with an Organisation Administrator Role to set the User Access Period for all other roles within the Organisation. This Access Period defines how far back a user can adjust historical information. This first release limits users from making changes to the following information if it is outside of their access period:
- Approve, Reject, Delete Booking - Individual Action
- Approve, Reject, Delete Booking - Bulk Action
- Sign In - Bulk Action
- Sign Out - Bulk Action
- Withdraw Session Report - Individual Action
- Withdraw Session Report - Bulk Action
- Delete Session Report - Individual Action
- Delete Session Report - Bulk Action
Some important things to note:
- As a part of this release, Xap will not be setting the User Access Period for any roles. This means that users will maintain their existing access until the Organisation Admin adjust the period of access.
- Non Organisation Admin Users with the Manage Role permission can still create roles, but these will default to a limited access period of **Current Week + 1 Week **this is for security reasons and an Organisation Admin user will need to increase the access if required.
- This new feature does not overwrite the existing CCS FY Lock functionality in the system. Historical access will still be limited to the CCS Lock Period by default.
For more information, please see our User Access Period guide.
A future release will contain further enhancements to these restrictions.
