Service & Guardian User Link Expiry Times
Overview
There are 2 types of Users:
- Service - Staff using the Xap or Connect App programs
- Guardians & Carers - Using the Guardian Web Portal and Smile App.
Service - Link Expiry details:
Expiry | |

New Staff Account Activation - Initial welcome/activation email | Link will not become expired until clicked and password is created. |
Service manually resending Staff/User Resend Password | Link will not become expired until clicked and password is created. |
Staff selecting Forgot Password option on app or Web portal | Link will expire in 30 minutes of getting created. |
User Active in one Organisation and is added to another Organisation (user will receive an Accept new Role email) | Link will not become expired until clicked and password is created. |
User not Active in one Organisation and is added to another Organisation (user will receive an Activate Account) | Link will not become expired until clicked and password is created. |
Guardians & Carers - Link Expiry details:
