Smile APP - Managing Direct Debit Details
This article will assist you with viewing and updating your Direct Debit details via your Smile APP for your Child Care Service.
Overview
If your Service has enabled the Direct Debit payment method, you can add or update your Direct Debit details via the Smile APP.
Viewing your Direct Debit Information
To view your current Payment information, this can be located by:
Log into the Smile APP

Select the 3 line menu icon

Select the Families option

The Family screen will display

Scroll down and select Payment Account (s)

Select the Payment Account to manage the details for.

Your current Balance will be displayed

Editing Account Details
You can edit your Account information eg. Emails address, phone number by selecting the Edit button.
Note: If the Edit button is not displayed, your Service may not have enabled this option. Please contact your Service directly to assist you with editing your Account details.

Make any changes as required then select Save

Editing Payment Details
Note: If the Edit button is not displayed, your Service may not have enabled this option. Please contact your Service directly to assist you with editing your Account details.
Editing the payment details, allows you to manage where your Direct Debit payments information including:
Changing from Bank Account to Credit Card
Updating Credit Card Expiry Dates
Selecting your preferred Transaction day for payments to be taken
Note: If you change your Payment Details, this will only take effect from when your next invoice will be generated from. Any existing Direct Debit payments that are due to be taken will be using the Payment details that were there at the time the invoice was generated. If you would like to make changes for the created Direct Debit payments and the Date hasn't commenced, you will need to contact your Service directly regarding stopping this payment.
Select Edit

The Direct Debit Profile screen will display, your current information.

Debit From allows you to choose between Credit Card/Debit Card or Bank Account

Adding in Credit Card Details.
Add in your Card information including Expiry and CVV
You can also view the Services processing charges.

Adding in Bank Account Details.
Add in your Account information including Account name , BSBand Account number
You can also view the Services processing charges.

Your Service may have allowed you to choose your preferred transaction day.
If this is greyed out you will be able to view the Services set Direct Debit Transaction day.

Select your preferred Transaction day. This will only display the days the Service has enabled you to select from.

Tick that you agree to the Terms and Conditions
Select Save
