SMS - Guardians managing SMS permissions
Once you have enabled SMS for your Centre/s, you can send an email to all Guardians in one step to advice SMS is now ready to go.
All active Guardians and Nominees will be automatically ticked for OPT IN for SMS.
Guardians can choose to set particular Guardians and Nominees to OPT OUT for SMS via the:

Default Email template
Below is the Guardian view of the default SMS enabled email they will receive.
You may choose to customise this prior to sending out the email.
Opt out via Web Portal on laptop
To manage SMS authorisations for Guardians and Nominees, within your Xap Web Portal.
- Select the Family screen icon from the left-hand menu
- Select the 3-dot icon next to the Guardian or Nominee
- Select Edit from the drop-down menu
- Within Communication Preferences tick to Disable SMS for the selected Guardian/Nominee
- Select Save
Opt out via Web Portal on device
To manage SMS authorisations for Guardians and Nominees, within your Xap Web Portal on your device using the address: www.xap.rocks
- Select the 3-line icon on the top right
- Select the Family screen icon from the left-hand menu
- Select the 3-dot icon next to the Guardian or Nominee
- Select Edit from the drop-down menu
- Within Communication Preferences tick to Disable SMS for the selected Guardian/Nominee
- Select Save
