Web Portal for Guardians & Carers- Viewing & Managing Notifications
The Web Portal for Guardians & Carerswill allow you to view notifications from your childcare service.
Some of these notifications you may receive include:
- Your child was signed in/out/absent by a staff member or nominee
- You have expiring medical documents that need to be updated
- Change of bookings has been added
- Approved or rejected casual/recurring booking patterns
- Secondary Guardian or staff have updated details of your family
- Activities have been published for your child
- Medication has been logged or administered for your child, to allow you to authorise
Once a notification has been sent through for your Child, you will be able to view this once you log into the web portal.
To view notifications via the Xap Smile app see: Smile App - Viewing & Managing Notifications- When you are logged in to the Portal for Guardians, you are in the main dashboard screen SELECT the Notifications Bell at the top right of the screen.
- Select the Grey Settings icon

From the Notifications setting screen, you will be able to select from the various headings in the menu, which will drop down to show your notifications.
- Select the Guardian notifications heading you would like to customise
- Select OFF if you would no longer like to receive this notification type

STEP 4: SELECT from the drop down categories which notifications you would like to receive or not receive.
(All notifications are automatically set to ON which means you will receive all notifications
To switch the notifications OFF you need to select OFF

STEP 5: Once you have chosen the notifications you would like to receive or not receive SELECT SAVE
