How A Child Timeline Works

With the Xap Connect app, you can close the gap between educators and families and offer a seamless experience with your brand. Keep parents in the loop with photos, meal reports, daily activities and newsletters from your childcare centre. Our easy-to-use Xap Connect app and web portal makes everything easy for parents.

One included feature is the child timeline. All the activities you post on a child's profile will be posted on the child's timeline. Services can now send a summary of a child's activities and a detailed view of each child's day via the timeline so guardians can watch their child's learning via the app and web portal.

From the activities section of the web portal - You can post activities on a chil'sd profile on any given day.

To view a child timeline in the web portal:

• Go to families listing.
• Click on the child's name.
• This will open the child profile.
• You will be able to see the timeline there.
• Guardians will see the child timeline when they login to the guardian web portal or Xap Smile App.
