How to Add Resources

In early childhood, a resource is any material, environment, or experience used to support learning in line with the EYLF. Resources promote play‑based learning, curiosity, and exploration while supporting children’s development across the EYLF Learning Outcomes and intentional teaching practices.

Adding a Resource

Step 1: Select the Journey icon

Step 2: Select the Resources tab

Step 3: Select + to add a resources

Resource details

1. Name of the Resource eg. Silkworm Farm
2. Description of the resource
3. Intentional Teaching: Intentional teaching involves educators being deliberate, purposeful and thoughtful in their decisions and actions. Here you would be able to add and view intentional teaching.
4. Available From & To - Dates the resource is available to be used for planning (end date non-mandatory)
5. Available Quantity - total amount of the resource available (non-mandatory)
6. Attachments - Upload any supporting attachments for the resource (non-mandatory)
7. Featured Image - Image of the resource (non-mandatory)
8. Save
