How to create a Program Plan


Xap offers the ability to input program plans for your service. This enables services and educators to prepare for the week's activities and link observations and guardian updates to the programs planned.


Step 1: From the menu select the journey module.



Step 2: Select plans from the menu and click on the + to create a new program plan.



Step 3: Once inside the create program plan screen, you can select the date picker to select the week ending in which you choose to create the program plan for and populate the details as required to create a program plan.



** Step 4: ** Click on the option bar to view, edit or delete the plan.



** Step 5: ** Once you have created your program plan, click on open/view.



You'd now be able to view all information and details on your program plan.


** Step 6: ** Under each category, you can add summary, experiences, observations and resources by clicking on add/edit.



Note: You can also add learning category to an existing or create new category.




Note: In order to delete a learning category you can select delete and remove any specific learning category from your program plan.



Step 7: Click + to add staff reflection.



Note: You will be able to edit or delete your staff reflection by clicking on the option.



In order to have your program plan completed you can add in program goal, learning extensions and evaluation.



Step 8: Select the most related learning outcomes from EYLF and NQS to link them to your program plan.



Note: You will be able to edit or add learning outcomes as required in order to create a program plan to fit your centre/room(s) needs.
