Medication & Incident Settings
This article will assist you with managing the settings for Medication & Incident reporting.
Overview
The Medications & Incidents Screen allows you to:
- Note Medications that have been administered to the Children
- Record Guardian Authorisation signatures
- Send Notifications of administered medications to Guardians
- View Prior Medication forms
- Create Injury Incident/Traumas & Illness Records
- Record, Guardian, Staff & Witness signatures
User Permissions
The 3 default User Roles will automatically have the settings selected. The default User Roles are:
- Organisation Admin
- Provider Admin
- Centre Admin
To assign the permission to Custom User Role Groups.
- Select the Settings screen from the left hand menu.

- Select the Manage Roles icon

- Select the 3 dot menu next to the User Role name
- Select Edit

Scroll to the bottom of the User Permissions.
3 new User Permissions
- Guardian Portal Settings
Allows the User to Manage the settings for the Guardian portal, this includes:
- Disabling/Enabling the Medication Screen from the Portal
- Disabling/Enabling the Incident Report Screen from the Portal
- Medication
Allows the User to:
- Create and manage Medication requests.
- Authorise administered Medications.
- View Medications to be administered/that have been administered.
- Incident
Allows the User to:
- Create and manage Incident Reports.
- View Incident Reports.
- Select Save
Select Save once the required permissions have been selected for the User Role Group.

Guardian Portal Settings
To manage the Guardian portal settings for Medication & Incidents.
Within the Settings screen:
- Select the Guardian Portal Settings Icon

If you are a multi-centre Organisation you can choose to manage this by:
- Select Edit next to Guardian Portal Settings

You can choose to manage these settings at:
- Organisation Level - Same settings for all Services linked to the Organisation
- Provider Level - Same settings for all Services linked to a Provider
- Centre Level - Settings enabled per Service

- Disable Medication Requests feature
If this options is NOT Selected, the families will be able to:
- View the Medication Tab via the Web Portal.
- Send Medication requests to the Service.
- Authorise medications that have been administered to their child/ren by the Service.
4. Disable Incident Records feature
If this options is NOT Selected, the families will be able to:
- View the Incident Reports Tab via the Web Portal.
- View Incident Reports for their Child from the Service.
- Authorise completed Incident Reports that have been posted for their child/ren by the Service.
- Select Save to save the new settings.
