CCS Session Error - No Active Enrolment found for given Enrolment ID and Dates
This article will assist you with managing the CCS session error of No Active Enrolment found for given Enrolment ID and Dates.
Meaning:
The CCSS Message of 'No Active Enrolment Found for given Enrolment ID and Dates" indicates there are sessions on the Rolls for a child that are NOT covered by a CCSS Enrolment as it has become Ceased.
Why the error occurs
The Message of 'No Active Enrolment found' indicates that the child has sessions on the Bookings & Attendances screen to be submitted to CCSS, however their CCSS Enrolment isn't currently Active to cover that particular day/s.
This could be due to:
- The Enrolment becoming Ceased prior to the sessions being submitted and new enrolment is not yet created to cover the session report period you are submitting it the CCSS
- The incorrect Arrangement Start date being selected eg. 3/3/21, however the child's first attendance was the 1/3/21
- A CCSS Enrolment being in the status of "Unsubmitted" so the child doesn't have an E800 CCSS enrolment ID.
The message will be displayed on your Session reports failed to submit email as below and will include the information of:
- The name of the child
- Family name
- Week Start Date that is incorrect
- Total Fees Charged
- Error

Correcting the Error
Scenario 1 - No Enrolment created or an Unsubmitted CCS Enrolment
All children who attend the Service are required to have a CCSS enrolment created for them to cover all of their Sessions being submitted. This can be a CWA, RA, AO or ACCS Enrolment type.
To create a CCSS Enrolment:
- In the Families tab, Select the child's name on the account you wish to create an enrolment for.
- Select Enrolments.
- Create a New Enrolment. To create a new enrolment, select the Green + button
- Select the Service and Arrangement Type
- Select Session type, Bookings Interval and enter in recurring sessions.
Scenario 2 - Ceased CCSS Enrolment that requires new occurrence to be created
If the child's enrolment is ceased and you are trying to submit the session report which is outside of the ceased enrolment, you may need to create an new enrolment occurence.
- Select the Families Screen
- Select the child's name
- Select Enrolments
- Create a New Enrolment. To create a new enrolment, select the Green + button
- Select the Service and Arrangement Type
- Select Session type, Bookings Interval and enter in recurring sessions.
- Make any necessary amendments to the child's Sessions and select Save & Send to CCSS.
Scenario 3 - Incorrect CCSS Enrolment Start Date
The CCS Error message of "No Active Enrolment" will also appear if the child has sessions on the Rolls prior to the arrangement start date.
e.g. Enrolment commences on the 5/3/21 however the child's first session of care was the 1/3/21.
As the child is actively enrolled to the Service, the existing Enrolment can be edited and the start date backdated.
To edit the incorrect start date:
- Select the Families Screen
- Select the child's name
- Select Enrolments
- Find the ceased enrolment you wish to reactivate, select the 3 dot menu
- Select Edit
- Change the Arrangement Start date back to cover the first session of care
- Select Save & Send to CCSS.
Why the error needs to be resolved.
If the message is not resolved this can impact the Service and Guardian for paid CCSS.
- The Session for the child with the error will not submit successfully for processing until the message has been corrected
- Can cause a Breach with CCSS due to the session not being submitted within 14 days required period
- CCS will not estimate on any Sessions not covered by a CCSS Enrolment
