Clearing a Marked Attendance via the Connect App
This article will assist you with clearing an incorrectly marked attendance via the Connect App.
Overview
If you have Children that may have been incorrectly marked in the system, you can “Clear” this out of Xap to allow the correct attendance information to be added.
This can be completed via the main XAP program or via the Connect App.

After logging into the Connect App:
- Select the Menu screen
- Select the Children screen from menu

Scenario 1
The child has been signed out but is still at the Service. In this scenario, you will be removing the sign out time but leaving the sign in time.
- Search on the name of the child
- Select the Circle icon in the top left

- Select the name of the child
- Select the 3 dot more option on the bottom toolbar

- Select Clear from the pop-up

- Select Clear Sign out details
- Select Submit

The sign out time will be removed, allowing the correct sign out time to be added when the child is collected from the Service.

Scenario 2
The child has been marked as an absent but has now arrived at the Service
- Select the ABS status, or search on the name of the child
- Select the Circle icon in the top left

- Select the name of the child/ren
- Select the 3 dot more option on the bottom toolbar

- Select Clear from the pop-up

- Select Clear Absence details
- Select Submit

The absent marking will be removed and the child will show as a Pending status. This will allow the child to be signed in via the Kiosk by the guardian/nominee or as staff via the children menu.
