Guardian Declined Direct Debit Payments


This article will assist you with viewing and managing your Declined Direct Debit payments.


If your scheduled Direct Debit has been unsuccessful, you will receive the below email, the included information will be:


  1. Where payment was trying to be taken from
  2. Amount of failed Direct Debit payment
  3. Response Message - Will display the reason Paychoice has declined the payment, these reasons could be:
  • Insufficient Funds
  • Payment Stopped
  • Expired Card

  1. Dishonour Amount that will be charged to your Account for the declined payment



Managing your Account Balance


Your Child's Service may have have enabled the Pay Now option. Pay Now allows you to pay your Invoice via the Guardian Portal or via the Smile App.
