Enrolment Error - PEA Enrolment with Foster/Kinship must not exceed 13 weeks

This article will assist you with understanding and managing the PEA Enrolment error.

Overview

From the 1st July 2021, CCS have made changes to the ACCS Child Wellbeing process.

For children who are identified as being at risk, they need to have a PEA Enrolment type created.

Reason the Error occurs

For children who are under the PEA Reason of Foster/Kinship Care, this is for a maximum of 13 weeks per Service, per Child CRN.

When you are creating the PEA Enrolment and select the PEA Reason as Child is in Formal Foster/Kinship Care, an Enrolment End Date becomes mandatory.

The Enrolment End date can only be for a maximum of 13 weeks from the PEA CCSS Enrolment Start Date.

If the Arrangement end date is greater than 13 weeks from the PEA Enrolment start date for a Foster/Kinship Care you will receive the below error.

Resolving the error

To resolve this error, you will need to change the Enrolment End Date to be up to 13 weeks from the Enrolment Start Date.
