CCSS Enrolments – Why do they become Ceased
This article will assist you with understanding why CCSS Enrolments/Arrangements become Ceased.
Overview
Every child who attends care for a CCSS Registered Care Service is required to have a CCSS Enrolment/Arrangement created. The Arrangement needs to cover from the child's First Day of Care to their Last Day of Care.
Why an Enrolment becomes Ceased.
Enrolments become ceased due to:
- The Child not attending care at the Service for a 14 week continuous period. CCSS will automatically cease this Enrolment.
- Absences for the Child being submitted by the Service for a 14 continuous week period. CCSS will automatically cease this Enrolment.
- The Service chooses to End the Enrolment for the Child if they are ceasing Care at the Service.
This information will be displayed within the CCSS enrolment and your CCSS Messages.
To view the Ceased Reasons:
- Search on the Child from the Global Search (or via the Families screen and Childrens Tab)
- Select the name of the Child

- Select the Enrolment Tab for the Child
4 Select the 3 dot menu next to the Ceased Enrolment
- Select View from the drop down menu
